Express Entry Overview
Express entry is not an immigration program , but an electronic management system for immigration program introduced by immigration, refugee and citizenship canada (IRCC) on 1, January 2015. It is a system that intends to make the immigration process faster and simpler for applicants applying for PR under FSWC, CEC, FSTC and some PNP.
IT doesn’t apply to those willing to immigrate to Quebec.
Moreover, it’s involves five step in it’s procedures:-
An applicant to begin with shall qualify one the following programs.
Few of the PNP’s are submitted by Express entry but one has to be eligible for one of the aforementioned programs to enter the pool.
An eligible applicant will create and submit EOI commonly called Express entry profile . The EOI will be evaluated and issued points using the comprehensive ranking system (CRS).
Eligible applicants are added into the Express pool and ranked against each other . An applicant’s profile remains in the pool for 12 months ; however being in the pool does not guarantee an invite.
Immigration , refugee, and citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducts Express entry draw regularly . They select the individual with highest points and invite them to submit an application for Canadian PR ; it is called ITA.
If the applicant receives an ITA , they are required to complete and submit their application within 90 days of ITA and if failed to submit The ITA is invalidated and returns to pool.
